LIBYA BUILD – Tripoli International Fair (Libya) 12 – 15 May 2025

16 May 2025

WORLDKEM took part in LIBYA BUILD 2025, the largest trade event in the construction and building industry in North Africa, held in Tripoli from May 12 to 15.

Now in its 16th edition, the event has grown over the years and established itself as a key reference point for the North African market until 2014, when it was suspended due to the outbreak of war. The exhibition covers the following sectors: construction, building materials and machinery; architecture and engineering; doors, windows, and facades; interior design and furniture; water treatment, environment, and air conditioning; wood, metal, glass, marble, and stone cladding (including related machinery); bathroom furnishings and ceramics; gardening and public green spaces.

The country currently has a pressing need to build, rebuild, or develop much of its housing and infrastructure stock. The capital and other Libyan cities are showing signs of a lively construction sector, with ongoing building and renovation of residential and commercial properties, as well as the development of new industrial areas—aligned with the current trend of fostering a local manufacturing and industrial sector.

The market therefore offers promising opportunities in design, architecture, engineering, restoration, and high-quality materials for both public and private residential construction, as well as in major structural and infrastructural projects such as ports, airports, roads, subways, and railways.
